A big theme of our discussion was the power of simplicity. Kelly and Sarah stressed that even the most technical products need to be explained in a way that anyone can understand. They also emphasized the importance of brand authenticity, owning your unique voice rather than trying to copy the latest “cool” vendor in the market.
We talked about leadership, too. The founders agreed that forward-thinking leaders are increasingly willing to throw out the old playbook, embracing bold, disruptive marketing approaches that go beyond jargon. And while they acknowledge that not every brand will resonate with everyone, they firmly believe that originality attracts the right audience.
