This live World Hacker Games™ Capture-the-Flag (CTF) competition pitted ethical hackers against real-time AI defense systems to truly see one of the fastest-growing online threats: deepfakes. This evolving threat includes AI-generated video and convincing voice attacks, fake executives, and fake job candidates, all appearing as realistic as they are alarming.
During this riveting event, the team posing as attackers launched synthetic identity assaults just as Validia’s AI-powered authentication platform, giving attendees a front-row seat to the evolving cat-and-mouse game that is modern security.
But the true star of this event was Validia’s ability to verify a user’s identity across video and voice in mere seconds, even as attackers used advanced AI to try and slip through the cracks.
This was a true-blue, real-world test under pressure, showing how AI-driven threats bypass traditional defenses and how real-time biometric authentication is becoming a critical piece of the puzzle.
And let’s not forget CISO Rock Lambros, who broke down the entire event with his expert commentary, shedding light on the technical and strategic implications of deepfake attacks in today’s enterprise environment.
